What is Excel V+?
The Excel V+ laser can treat various vascular and benign pigmented conditions on all skin tones. Many skin conditions manifest in the form of broken or abnormal blood vessels in the skin, as is the case with rosacea, in which the facial blood vessels dilate excessively, causing redness and flushing.
How it Works
ExcelV+ treats vascular conditions by administering a unique high-power green laser that is absorbed by abnormal vessels causing the vein walls to collapse and seal shut. Over time, the vessels will no longer be visible. Several treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired result.
Recovery
Patients commonly notice slight reddening and swelling of the skin, some patients experience bruising and in rare instances, blistering may occur.
