What is Derma V?
DermaV is the newest laser to treat rosacea, redness, pigmented lesions, vascular lesions, and sun damage on the face, neck, and chest.
How it Works
Derma V is a 532nm laser with over three times more power than the next best green laser, resulting in a broader range of fluence and spot size that help its more flexible wavelength penetrate deeper. It dramatically increases the range of possible treatments compared to green lasers of the past.
Recovery
There is minimal downtime with the DermaV. Some patients experience redness or mild swelling in the treated area immediately following treatment, this usually goes away in a few hours. Occasionally purpura, a laser bruise, may occur. Purpura is transient and usually disappears in three to five days.
