The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) has honored our very own, Dr. Suzanne Kilmer as the 2014 Iron Surgeon at its annual meeting in San Diego.
The Iron Surgeon competition is about providing the highest level of education combined with cutting-edge, unique entertainment. The winners are voted by the audience.
Participating in one of the three matches, Dr. Kilmer, competed against Dr. Nowell Solish of Toronto, Canada. The objective of the competition is to provide a presentation of the best cosmetic facial rejuvenation of a pre assigned case.
Dr. Kilmer’s presentation included a music video, directed by her son, Jenner Chapman. The video was filmed and edited by family friend, Lucas Dudley. Dr. Trent Custis, Laser & Skin Surgery Center Fellow for 2014 wrote and performed the song’s lyrics.
Dr. Kilmer is looking forward to her year of bragging rights as the new Iron Surgeon!
