Dr. James H. Rosing graduated from the Keck School of Medicine of USC where he was recognized as a Graduate with Highest Distinction for consistent excellence in the sciences awarded to less than 10% of graduating seniors. During medical school he was awarded AOA status, a national honor society, as well as the AOA research fellowship. Dr. Rosing trained according to the traditional pathway with full general surgery training which he completed at UC Davis Medical Center. While at Stanford, he was elected as one of two administrative Chief Surgical Residents by his surgical mentors, demonstrating his leadership. While at UC Davis, he was awarded the Francis W. Noel Award for scholarly activity and presented at national and regional plastic and reconstructive meetings. Dr. Rosing trained under Dr. Tom Stevenson, former director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Harvard trained craniofacial surgeon, Dr. Granger Wong, Occuloplatic specialist, Dr. Lily Lin, renowned body contouring surgeon, Dr. Michael Wong and the international authority on fat grafting, Dr. Lee Pu. Dr. Rosing has authored and published surgical textbook chapters as well as several peer reviewed scientific articles. Dr. Rosing is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
