Dr. Andrea Willey earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of California at Davis and Doctorate of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Yale University and residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota, where she served as chief resident during her final year. During residency Dr. Willey developed strong interests in laser research and dermatologic surgery and received numerous accolades for her research contributions. With a focus on cutaneous oncology and reconstructive surgery, she then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction at Oregon Health & Science University where she also served as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr Willey is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Lasers in Medicine & Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She has published several book chapters and articles in peer reviewed journals and has presented her research at national and international meetings.
